steom Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Why not implement a function that takes a list of files or directories and tells you which of them fits best within a certain size limit? Imgburn will calculate the optimal combinations, and then give the option to burn the combinations. Just specify the size to use and how close to 100% you want to fill it, select the files or directories to use as "candidates," and click Compute. The results will appear, and you can move or copy the winning combination to another location prior to burn. See you.
polopony Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 check out build mode thats a calculator on the right side
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Maybe that 'Burn to the brim' program will help you. Sorry but it's not functionality I can ever see being implemented into ImgBurn directly.
zacoz Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 The next problem would then be tracking what had been burnt (backed up) and what was still to be done. That's a scary path to head down - especially if you're backing up the missus' PC and forget something before a clean format/re-install
