Whenever I try to burn a DVD lately it works fine until it gets to the end and cannot finalise the disc, the disc then becomes completely unreadable. Is there anything I can do?

Hi Senraeth:

Welcome to ImgBurn.

Corny is right-on about the CMC media. They are pure junk. Get yourself some Verbatim discs. For the single-layer discs you can use either +R or -R and for the dual-layer make sure you get the +DL.
