JKS Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I'm a newbie. I have Decrypter and Shrink. I downloded Imgburn and I have been trying to decypt for burning a program that I burned to disk from the Tivo. Decrypter shows several read errors. When I tried Imgburn, it said "cyclic redundancy error". What am I doing wrong? Is this a problem with the program, or is it a problem with the disks I am using or the DVD recorder I used to record from the Tivo? HELP! I have been trying to clear programs and movies I saved on my Saltellite Tivo and make backup disks from the rewritable disk that I recorded them on. I have been having some problems with the recorder but I am not sure whether it is the program, the recorder, or the disk. When I finally get a copy, it will play on my computer, but will not play in any of my other DVD players. This is another reason I was trying to get a decryted copy.
dontasciime Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) try another rw anything you have recorded onto rw or dvd-r etc will not be encrypted anyways only mastered pressed will have that. backup disc in iso mode then get shrink to open image Edited January 5, 2007 by dontasciime
