Hi,

I'm trying to burn a 7.5 gb iso onto a dual layer DVD disc. It failed

3 times in Nero at various points (about half way through). I took

the advice on discs and bough Verbatim dl's. Now trying this

program.

Before imgburn attempts to burn this iso, it says:

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: none found! (VTS_01).

This image has not been mastered correctly for burning

onto a double layer (OTP track path) disc. None of the cells

meet the 'DVD-video specification' criteria for a potential

layer break position.

So what should I do? How could I "re-master" the image

or maybe split it into two dvd's? I'd prefer to burn it to

dl so that it will play normally in a player, but I have to

free up space on my hard drive so it has to come off

somehow. Thanks!

Use Img in Build mode to build a correct image that you can burn to a dual layer media. Then use write mode in Img to burn that image to a blank media. :) For more info check out the F&Q for info on your question.

You mean the FAQ in this forum section? I read that and what was in the guide

section and I also searched the forum before I posted. I haven't found

anything else available to get the right info except this forum. I'm sorry,

but I could not find instructions on how to do what you suggest.

I did venture into the program in build mode but I couldn't figure out

what to do. I do my best but I'm not one of those who finds software

"intuitive". Without a manual and without being familiar with these

things, I need input from people who know the program.

Does anyone know how to build a correct image from the incorrect

one? Thanks.
