Now I have the problem, that the drive tell me that the new discs are complete? lfcrule1972 Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 Is the above information obtained before you have burnt the discs ? Is there a newer firmware available for your drive ? I tried a quick search over at www.rpc1.org but couldn't find anything, you can look yourself from the ImgBurn Gui window. Right click where you can see your drive (left of window) and then select Firmware Update from the list, if there are any available it should find it for you. As lfc said, was the above info taken after a burn? Throw a fresh blank disc into your drive>open Img>copy and paste the info from the window on the right. dvd-girl Posted January 22, 2007 Author Share Posted January 22, 2007 I didn't burn a verbatim-disc yet, cause imgburn tell me that the disc (all 5 of my new package) is already completed, so I couldn't burn anything on the disc. I already installed the firmware from the dell support. When I put my platinum-DL in the drive, imgburn says it's empty. This is just a supposition though and one of the other guys may have other options to help you. What other burning software do you have on your laptop, windv, etc........ They've sent me a philips drive and it works fantastic! I've just burnt 2 discs and the verbatim as well as the platinum are recognized in the standalone dvd-player! Thanks for your help!
