Problem NOT in ImgBurn! Problem in drivers/OS/drive... or i don't know in what else... maybe in cdfs.sys???

OS: Windows XP SP2

Don't remember, but under SP1 i see DVD-R normal... maybe... many time ago was this...

P.S. Maybe this was good if add function some like "All sectors -> To ISO"... in this situation it's be very helpful... thanks!

With best regards Blacky!

Perhaps the disc has no valid file system on it that windows can understand?

No, disc have good file system!

On others PC or with others DVD drive - disc readable good!

Some strange with NEC series ND and DVD-R... in one beautiful day - system stoped recognize DVD-R...

Some people say - cleare you laser and disc recognized againe, some say - in windows sp2 - after running DVD players like Power DVD or Windows Media Player 10 - DVD-R discs stand don't understanded by system...

If DVD-R cleare (not writed) - system see it! I can write on it! But after i write data - eject - insert againe - disc don't recognized like DVD-R! =(

I don't know then, sorry.

The only sure fire way to force it to read a disc is to eject it, shut down the pc, boot it up again and then insert the disc whilst the 'my computer' window is open.

If you have autoinsert enabled the OS should attempt to read the contents of the disc automatically, if you don't you'll need to 'refresh' by pressing F5 or whatever.

If it can't read what's on the disc then you're stuck. Try putting a different drive in that same pc and see if it does the same.

This is just basic problem solving and only you can do that - as you're the only one with access to the pc!
