LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Your drive (with it's current firmware) doesn't support those discs. To be honest, they're not great anyway. Try to find some Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden ones. Also look around and see if you can find a firmware update for your drive.
lfcrule1972 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 A write speed of 32x with those discs would be really really messy too ! As the boss said the Firmware for your drive doesn't support them altho in my experience that's not a bad thing as they are patchy at best.

lfcrule1972 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I think it's because the drive/firmware doesn't recognise the discs polo - it's guessing the disc type etc...
