Adak Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I have a Linux live CD, and I want to copy it to another CD - keeping it "live", of course. Can I do that using ImgBurn? I have 2 CD writers, both recognized by WindowsXP, and work normally. Trying to avoid the 4 hour download of the Linux iso file on my DSL line. Thanks in advance. Adak

Adak convert it to an ISO and you should be able to burn it ,if its copy protected then IB wont do it
Adak Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 It's not copy protected - but it's almost 700 megs in a ton of directories! How could it be converted to an ISO file? Thanks. Adak
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Using Build mode won't give you a 1:1 backup of the disc - which is probably what you want/need. You need to find a program that can read a disc to an ISO, sector by sector.
wild77 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 You need to find a program that can read a disc to an ISO, sector by sector. What about a program that has an ISO read mode, then use ImgBurn to write the ISO image to the disc.
dontasciime Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 dvdinfopro can do it, nero burning rom / cancel wizard then click on extra's / save tracks, will do it.
