UPnP Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Ok - I have Windows Vista so I hope image burn will work with Vista. Can someone please post, from beginning to end, the best and most efficient way to backup a DVD movie? Is it best to write an ISO file then burn using DVD shrink? I had success in the past using ripit4me with dvd decrypter and dvd shrink using dual layer media. Ripit4me is not working in Vista however. I would really like to start using imgburn so any help you can provide would be appreciated! The guides don't seem to take this scenario from beginning to end. polopony Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 we dont discuss ripping or bypassing copyright protection for legal reasons ,thats what led to the demise of dvd decrypter ,what I can tell you is if you have files on your hard drive to be written then you can build an ISO in build mode and then burn it with IB in write mode . IMGburn does not rip anything its a burning software and you would do better to check other forums for backing up dvd movies ,sorry but its the way it has to be Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
