LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Your drive can't write to those discs, that's why it's reporting a 'Write Error'. Switch to some decent Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden discs and the problems will go way. If they don't, your drive has probably developed a fault, send it back to HP for replacement.
dontasciime Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 or try dropping write speed to 8X, better off getting better disc's though.
