Not able to perform a PIPO scan

Hi,

 

I am running ImgBurn with DVDInfoPro. I am able to get the information after burn from DVDInfoPro, and I am able to run a CRC error scan. However, I am not able to run a PIPO scan. When I click the PIPO scan icon the scan window opens with "Start" greyed out but nothing happens. I press "Stop" and nothing happens. Am I missing someting obvious, or?

Only certain drives support PIPO scanning.

 

The main ones are LiteOn, BenQ and Plextor. I believe newer NEC and Pioneer drives also do it - perhaps Samsung too?

That explains it. Mine is a LG laptop drive, and nothing happens when I try to PIPO. Thank you for the information!
