sargey Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Hi guys. I'm getting speed issues with imgburn. I installed it on friday and it was working fine. As of yesterday I cannot seem to get over 1.2x. I have read the faq and I have done as it says. (Delete the controllers etc). Any ideas? It seem strange that it was working ok, then just stopped???

dontasciime Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 how have you got the drives connected as it would appear you have no controller in at all try nero info tool and configuration see what it says ftp://ftp6.nero.com/tools/InfoTool.zip which operating system are you using open up device manager and scan for new hardware
sargey Posted February 18, 2007 Author Posted February 18, 2007 No, wires are connected, disc's burn, just only at 1.2x max. Using win xp pro sp2. No new hardware when I scan. I have attached infotool text from nero software, if you wouldn't mind having a look at it? InfoTool.txt

(actually i looked again its a dell) Can you verify how you have your hard drives and writers connected. also you using an add in IDE pci card ?

dontasciime Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 open up the one your benq is connected to and advanced settings tab and look for udma 2 or udma 4 then uninstall that controller reboot computer and let windows pick it up again. have you recently been in the Bios as well, maybe you changed something in there, look for IDE section and see if there is an option to scan or refresh devices

dontasciime Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 you should maybe as well check all the hard drives you have connected for errors, just tick top box though. also if you still get nowhere whatever the other dvd rom showing as scsi you have is, unplug the cable and power cable and try again
