I am new to this. I have had great success in burning 2 hour movies with the Verbatims. I have some longer moview that use a layer break. I bought DL verbs but then noticed that it said to use only with DL hardware. Will I need to get a new burner in order to burn on the double layer DVD's?

Mattie, what make and model of burner are you using now? You will need a burner that is capable of DL burning. :)

I am using a Phillips DVD +- R RW. It came pre-installed in my Dell PC I purchase in 09/05. It says DVD 8701 on properties. I looked on the philips website but could not find that product, I do not have the user manual.
