Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Your drive doesn't appear to like that disc (or perhaps that dye in general) and is simply erroring out as it tries to format (write to) the sectors. Check and see if there are any firmware updates available for your burner. It may fix the problem. Failing that, see if you can get some 4x or 6x DVD-RW discs instead (Verbatim ones I would guess).

No updates available... Verbatim DVD-RW is the one I am currently having problems with...
