vincent100 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 (edited) First thank you for creating ImgBurn -- one of the best freeware ever!!! A quick question: I often use the "build" mode combined with "output to device" to burn a data CD/DVD. Never had a problem. But I noticed ImgBurn log always says "Write Type: SAO", which is different from writing an image file, where it says "Write Type: DAO". I couldn't find any customizable settings of the Write Type for the build mode. Is the disk burned in build mode actually closed/finalized? Sorry if this has been asked before -- I did a forum search for "SAO" and couldn't find any hits. Edited March 10, 2007 by vincent100
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 You must have been burning to a CD rather than a DVD. Nothing to worry about, it's just a name. Build mode actually just formats the data and passes it to the Write mode functions. There's only 1 bit of code that does all the burning for all the modes.
