First thank you for creating ImgBurn -- one of the best freeware ever!!!

A quick question:

I often use the "build" mode combined with "output to device" to burn a data CD/DVD. Never had a problem.

But I noticed ImgBurn log always says "Write Type: SAO", which is different from writing an image file, where it says "Write Type: DAO".

I couldn't find any customizable settings of the Write Type for the build mode.

Is the disk burned in build mode actually closed/finalized?

Sorry if this has been asked before -- I did a forum search for "SAO" and couldn't find any hits.

You must have been burning to a CD rather than a DVD.

Nothing to worry about, it's just a name.

Build mode actually just formats the data and passes it to the Write mode functions. There's only 1 bit of code that does all the burning for all the modes.
