godundastandzme Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hello, I just downloaded imgburn and I read through the guides, but still have no idea how to make a DVD. I downloaded some movies of the internet, and when I try to open them with imgburn in says the file type is not supported. They are avi files I believe. I also dont know what the difference is between double layer and single layer like is mentioned in the guides. I hope some one can help me as I would really like to learn how to use this product. Thanks
polopony Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 ok, IMGburn is an ISO burning software program Single Layer discs are approximately 4.3 gigs in size Dual layer discs are 8.5 in size avi or divx have to be converted to dvd files ifo,bup and vob then made into an ISO and when thats done can be burned by IMGburn to see what file extentions are supported open IB,TOOLS-->Settings--->File associations having downloaded movies you must understand we dont support any kind of piracy or the bypassing of copyright protection nor do we discuss any ripping software that might do this
