I have been using img burn for 6 months now and I have just now run across problems. Every time I try to write to a dvd i get this error message. Even for iso files on my hard drive that I have already sucessfully written on to discs I get the same message.

pretty crap discs for a start, try somethig good like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and you may have more luck. Have a read in the Drives and Media forum for some advice on good media.

Definitely follow the advice given by Jack and change media. CMC Magnetics is among the worst media out. They are used by many name brands to offer a product, but they suck.
