Grain Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 W 20:17:12 Failed to Write Sectors 391360 - 391391 - Power On, Reset, or Bus Device Reset Occurred Looks like a hardware error possibly caused the problem on the first burn, LUK or a beta member will be able to better explain. On your successful burn you had it set @4X, on the unsuccessful it was set at Max speed. Have you tried the Sony/Taiyos at 4X? You should be able to burn them faster than 4X, but a successful burn at that speed will be a good place to start.
klinger Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 On the second try I set the speed at 4x and used Verb's it said success would not play in 2 players or in a PC
Grain Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 (edited) Have you changed the booktype to dvd-rom? Edited December 4, 2005 by Grain
klinger Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 I'll check and try again. What I don't get it goes through the complete process of burning and says successfull try to play DVD "bad disc"
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 It wouldn't even read back in the PC?! Forget about playing it for now, can't explorer even see the contents of the disc? Booktype stuff will help with standalone players but it shouldn't make any difference to a PC. Also, it might be an idea to enable the 'Verify' option for after the burn. At least then you'll know if the disc contains everything it should do and that it burnt correctly.
