I cannot write on it, I tried many programs, could format it sometimes but I get some errors at writing, erasing, formatting or after at reading. And it accepts only speed 2.4x instead of 8x. So I eject the dvd manually after 10 min. And when I put it back, windows shows it as "cd player" and says it cannot access to the drive. polopony Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 its not the media that accepts 2.4x its your drives firmware that only supports that speed .Look for newer firmware and some different discs your drive doesn't like them very much
marco93 Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 okay guys, thank you. The pbm is that I already updated the firmware : HP13 (my pc is a HP Pavilion). So I guess there's no other way than getting others discs.
