Bootnut
Hi Thanks for a great program. I've read through a lot of the forum, and I have learned a lot. I just have one question about the build mode. In DVD Decrypter, I used the ISO - Read Mode on a regular basis. When I switched to ImgBurn, I didn't see such an option. After doing some reading here, it looks like the build mode can accomplish the same thing by simply selecting the drive letter in the add folder command. My question is this: is it doing the same thing as DVD Decrypter did with the ISO - Read mode? I always assumed that creating an ISO was the easiest way to maintain the structure, details and all the files of a disc. Perhaps I am assuming too much? Thanks a lot. polopony
they are not the same Decrypter iso read was able to decrypt copyrighted material and IMGburn DOES NOT have this ability it will only read unencrypted files
LIGHTNING UK!
Eh? ImgBurn has a 'Read' mode. Where are you looking? It's clearly not in the 'Mode' menu or I'm sure you'd see the 'Read' option! As polopony pointed out though, ImgBurn will not read protected media.
lfcrule1972
Are you using an older version of ImgBurn ?
Bootnut
I'm sorry, I must be an idiot. I don't know how I missed that. Perhaps it wasn't in an older version, and I never looked again? I'm going to feel really stupid if it's been there all along.
lfcrule1972
Don't worry it's been in ImgBurn for a couple of releases now but it certainly wasn't always there
