volvofl10 Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 its most likely a case of that drive not liking the media, have you any other blank media you can try ? also a slower burn sped may help see if you can find a firmware update for that drive GWA-4165B . its in a dell or an HP maybe ?, as its not a boxed retail drive . the retail version was a GSA-4165B NOTE the differant letters the GSA version is firmware DL05 , so theres probably a "DG" prefixed update about somewhere ( your on DG01 firmware version at the moment).
