dark3r Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I just downloaded a movie and as usual, i am using ImgBurn to put it on DVD. I build the ISO image from a 700MB avi file successfully nd proceed to burning. after i've burnt nd verifyed it i chuck it in my dvd player to watch...its loads.......loads.....loads....until, in the top left hand corner of the screen comes the message "Uknown Disc" - i live in australia, a region 4, PAL area. should i just make a VCD? is there a problem with what im doing? or is there something i have missed? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated cos im gettin real pissed off with this ty
mmalves Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Unless your DVD player reads DivX/XviD AVI files, it won't work. For playing on a standard DVD player you'd first need to convert your AVI to DVD-Video format, which you can find guides for doing so at VideoHelp.com.
