jokasmoker Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 about a week ago i switched over from dvd decrypter to imgburn and the last 4 img files i have burned play ok with no problems but when i come to copy these last 4 to another dvd with nero i get unrecoverable read error ive tryed copying a dvd that i burned with dvd decrypter and it works ok does anyone know if there is some kinda bug im using a pioneer 111d writer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Are you using different media? Even if the brand is the same, the discs might use a different dye. The read errors would have been picked up at the time of burning if you'd have verified at the same time. Might I suggest you leave the 'Verify' option enabled in future... at least until this issue is resolved. As for your Pioneer 111, just make sure you're running the most recent firmware. Disc wise, you should also make sure you're using decent ones. We recommend Verbatim (I prefer the DVD+R format ones) and Taiyo Yuden (I prefer the DVD-R format ones).
