Ok so I still cant get imgburn to burn a successful disc to play on my stand alone here is the log file and this is what i did i after the burn would not play. I explored the dvd took the video _ts files and put them on my harddrive. Maybe one of you guys or girls knows a program where i can extract the iso files to video_ts and audio _ts folders staight on to the harddrive without burning and then copying them back to the harddrive. Then I used anthoer program with directions to burn the video_ts files and the disc plays perfect on my stand alone. Any help would be Great I would love to just use imgburn as it seems like a great program only if i can overcome this one problem.

pretty sre you were told to use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs but you still are having trouble and you ignored that advice and are still using Sonys

Nothing wrong with the sony discs when i burn with nero they come out just fine. as far as the xbox 360 I only use verbatim discs. I would of got verbatim dvds to test but having some money trouble and i have the sonys and I tested it with nero using this method http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/40/59/ if they were the discs why does this method work?

I was also asking if there is a program where I can extract the iso file to a video_ts folder?

Is it still possible the program just doesnt like the discs? even though when I burn with nero they work just fine in my stand alone. Thanks Just trying to understand

Thank You

IsoBuster, UltraISO/MagicISO, even WinRAR, are programs able to extract files from ISO images. You could also install Daemon Tools, mount the ISO image to its virtual DVD-ROM drive and copy the files over.

The Nero guide you posted only re-creates the DVD-Video file structure, so, if doing that way works for you, it means your ISO image is somehow bad/corrupted, since ImgBurn doesn't modify any data when burning from an ISO image. By the way, ImgBurn's Build mode does the same as Nero and also generated DVD-Video compliant DVDs as soon as you add the VIDEO_TS folder to your build.

Ok Guys I thank You for all the help. I figured out what the problem was and thought I would share it with you all. Seems that 1 of the discs I brought was pal and cannot play on my dvd player. The backup I made. now Im working on finding out if there is a tool out there to let me convert pal to ntsc. weird how 1 of the discs comes in pal and the rest of the seasons are ntsc weird.

you can convert PAL to NTSC but its such a long drawn out process that its not worth it IMO .If you want to check Google Pal to NTSC there are converters but its hours and hours to do it, much easier getting the NTSC disc or go back to where it was purchased and point out the problem

More than weird. Take it back. It is probably pirated. Although it is legal to sell PAL disks in NTSC countries and vice versa, they must be able to play on your equipment. It needs to be correctly region coded, too. This is unheard of.

Take the original back and get a replacement. If indeed it is not a downloaded DVD - very suspicious directory name "I 20:10:30 Source File: G:\Newsbin Download\House Season 1\house.s1d1.iso"
