unwrite write protected dvd

Hi all

 

As i'm new to img burn i was just wondering if i can decode a write protected dvd and put the decoded info back on my hard drive ready to burn back on to a dvd .

 

I seem to remember a long time ago i used dvd decyptor for this , but lost all my previous instructions for different programmes when my pc crashed and had to be reformatted ,

 

Any advice will be greatly appreciated ,
