Cannot change book type

I tried to change book type of my Samsung DVD-RW: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-W162Z. I was trying to burn a DVD+R DL and it's necessary to change the book type. This is what happens, but it doesn't change the book type. Please help me! Thanks loads!

it wont change where you have shown until after the burn

either look in the log just when it starts to verify (remember to put a tick in the verify box)

example

I 17:55:28 Source Media Type: DVD+R DL (Book Type: DVD-ROM) (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 2,4x; 4x; 6x; 8x)

or in the right hand pane afterwards further down where it says 'Physical Format Information (Last Recorded)#39;
