piethesax2 Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I just bought a Maxim MX30-7000 off e-bay for £20-. What a mug I hear you say, it was advertised as new in box, sd card etc etc. I have tried, as have countless others, to play the film on my pc but ,as we know, there is no driver. One solution is to put the sd card into your pc or a "universal card reader" (£16- from Jessops) and your pc will play whats on the card. I had difficulty in playing the film off the sd card supplied with the"camcorder"(probably as it was only 64mb and only lasts about one minute) but I purchased another sd card(512mb - £8- from Asda) and lo and behold the pc played the film I took. Not brilliant quality, but it worked. I hope this is of use to people. Yard.
Higgsie Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Dear sir I had one of these cameras mx30 7000. Had no end of trouble trying to retrieve images, even with the disc. Only solution i used was to purchase a Card Reader. ( www.integralmemory.com ). Sent the machine back as useless and not working for full refund. If you can do the same I suggest you do it. You have the right as long as within five years of purchase.
