Diresim Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Hi, I am trying to back up my 360 games. Unfortunately. I'm having difficulty. Great difficulty. In order to work out what I'm doing wrong, I got a backup from a friend to compare the results of the burn using DVD INFO. My burn: (which gives me a cannot read disc error) Disc Regions are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 CSS Protected No Media code/Manufacturer ID N/A Pressed DVD UDF Format Type V1.02 UDF Volume Name XGD2DVD_NTSC UDF Application id UDF Implementation id Sonic Scenarist 3.1 UDF Recording Date/Time (mm/dd/yyyy) 3/ 6/2006 21:09:07 Format Capacity 7.05GB(7.57GB) Book Type DVD-ROM Media Type DVD-ROM Data area starting sector 30000h Data area end sector 386C1Fh Layer 0 end sector 20339Fh Linear Density 0.293um/bit Track Density 0.74um/track Number of Layers 2 Layer Track Path direction (OTP) Opposite track path His burn (which works fine): Region information N/A not a DVD-VIDEO Media code/Manufacturer ID MKM 001 Media Product Revision Number 00h UDF Format Type V1.02 UDF Volume Name XBOX360 UDF Application id UDF Implementation id Daikin U.S. Comtec Lab UDF Recording Date/Time (mm/dd/yyyy) 10/ 7/2005 12:18:46 Format Capacity 7.05GB(7.57GB) Book Type DVD-ROM Media Type DVD+R DL Data area starting sector 30000h Data area end sector 386C1Fh Layer 0 end sector 20339Fh Linear Density 0.293um/bit Track Density 0.74um/track Number of Layers 2 Layer Track Path direction (OTP) Opposite track path I think it's to do with the Book type, Media type, but I'm new to the school of burning backups, and am just getting my head around using Imgburn. I'm using a Sony DRX-830UL-T ext., which is not too flash, but I'm hoping should get the job done. Apparently it's a Samsung. I really have no idea what the settings mean in Imgburn, but am thinking if I did I could fix my issue. Cannot anyone provide any assistance at all?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Your mate is using verbatim discs... I can't see what you're using. Other than that, everything looks fine. A log of the burn would help though.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Looks like you're just getting bad burns with that drive. Try it on another PC and try another drive on your PC.
