LOCOENG Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 CD/DVDW TS-H652L 0603 I suspect you are SOL on the drive...I can't find anything newer than 2006 for firmware and had a hard time finding that! DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-D01-01) Get some Verbatims...they are the only ones in the DL ballgame ATM. You say the disc is a coaster? It won't play?

I've been told to get verbatim but i did have a 25 pack of memorex. Although i know they suck, most of the time they work. Can you link me to the best verbatim disks?? Funny thing is it seems to burn fine but won't verify. I've never had that problem in the past. As for my firmware i got this computer with the drive in the summer of 06 so maybe their is no upgrade yet. I found some Verbatims. Want to know if these are the one's that are dependable. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817130008 If not someone give me a good link please.. Edited June 10, 2007 by murderous
mmalves Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Try the manual way: switch to Verify mode, select the same image you've burnt and click the big Verify button.

Shamus_McFartfinger Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I 23:14:35 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-D01-01) (Speeds: 2.4x) Ritek media is pretty dodgy. A few years ago they made great media. These days they make crap. Go with what Locoeng said and get some Verbatims.
