FCVPI99 Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 im trying to make a backup of my DVD Crank i put the DVD in my DVD drive i click on Browes folder and click on F (my DVD drive) i fallow all directions in How to burn an image with ImgBurn and it keeps stop reading at 4% read errors keep going up after 20 errors it says I/O error Device [1:1:0] Sony DVD RW DRU-710A BYX5 (F:) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0X02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 28 00 00 02 9F D4 00 00 01 00 Interpretation Read (10) - Sector 171988 Sence Area 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 11 05 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: L-EC Uncorrectable Error am i doing something wrong???? is it my DVD Burner (its the newest one i have and the best i have)
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 ImgBurn won't read protected discs, so if that's what you're doing, it won't work - period. If it's not that, the disc has a scratch or something on it that the drive just can get past (read).
blutach Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Any protection should manifest itself well before that sector. As LUK says, you got a bad source disk. Test it in DVD Info Pro or Ner0 CD Speed. Regards
