im trying to make a backup of my DVD Crank

i put the DVD in my DVD drive i click on Browes folder and click on F (my DVD drive)

i fallow all directions in How to burn an image with ImgBurn

and it keeps stop reading at 4% read errors keep going up

after 20 errors it says

I/O error

Interpretation: Check Condition

Interpretation: L-EC Uncorrectable Error

 

am i doing something wrong???? is it my DVD Burner (its the newest one i have and the best i have)

ImgBurn won't read protected discs, so if that's what you're doing, it won't work - period.

 

If it's not that, the disc has a scratch or something on it that the drive just can get past (read).

Any protection should manifest itself well before that sector. As LUK says, you got a bad source disk. Test it in DVD Info Pro or Ner0 CD Speed.
