strstruckdreamr9 Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Hi everyone. I'm a new ImgBurn user, and I can't seem to get it to work. When I'm in the write mode, I get two error messages and the discs won't burn. The first one says, "Unable to lock volume for exclusive access. Reason: Access is denied." The second says, "Failed to reserve track. Reason: Invalid field in CDB." If anyone could please help me out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
mmalves Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 For the unable to lock issue, the solution is in this post. The same program that is "holding" your burner may very well be causing the other error, so please close that program and try again.
strstruckdreamr9 Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 when i search "cdrom," the only thing i see is imgburn. when i search my E and F drives, about a million different things pop up! how do i find what is "holding" my drive?
mmalves Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Are you sure there are no other programs running that might be using/holding access to your burner? Also, please post a log from such failed burn (they're at Help/ImgBurn logs).
kevdriver Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Dreamer9, check for incd. if its running close it down. This could cause your failed to lock error in imgburn.
