Scanner2174 Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I've looked through the FAQ and other forums, but can't quite find the issue I'm having. I downloaded the ISO of Fedora 7 and it seemed to burn OK, but the first sign of trouble was when the verify step got the "digital dry-heaves" on every sector (until I cancelled it). The disc is supposed to be bootable, but it's not. I'm not sure that I can really blame this on the program because I'm thinking this particular problem is operator head-space and timing. Even with it not being bootable, I would expect to see files in Windows Explorer, but I don't. Here is the log... ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 - Log ; Wednesday, 27 June 2007, 20:45:44 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 19:59:32 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started! mmalves Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I 20:01:40 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: ProdiscF02) (Speeds: 1x) This is your problem: poor quality media. Get Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DVD-Rs (your drive only supports this format) and it should work fine.
