IB writes for 2-3 munites and then all of a sudden fails. What does this error mean? Is it the disks or am I doing something wrong here (I am new to IB)? Thanks in advace! Matshita drives aren't the best. They're cheap and pretty nasty (which is why none of us has one). These disks are the biggest problem though. They're really bad for both reliability and quality. volvofl10 Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Laptop drives have never really been anygood , ive ahd 5 laptop machines over the years and every 1 of them have failed in 1 way or another . The dvd drives are worse than standard cd drives. your best dvice is to get a decent external burner for starters. regrading the media your using, refer to Shamus'sssssss comments above it may be worth while changing the write speed from MAX to 2x,or even 1x but again, get an external burner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
