ImgBurn and Vista(Business/Ultimate) drive locking Issue

Hi,

I hope someone can help I am having trouble writing discs in vista with imgburn(great software), basically when I click burn after selecting an image it displays the following message(please see attached image)

 

So I did a search using process explorer for any processes who have a handle for the cdrom , now this is where it is strange it says my sidebar is accessing the cdrom. But I dont have any gadgets that should be accessing it. If I do a search for the assigned drive letter I get couple more hits being avp.exe,iexplorer.exe,explorer.exe and sidebar.exe again.

 

I am at a loss as to how to fix this and might have to go back to nero for a short while until I get it sorted.

 

Any ideas would help

You've done all you can. Does it work OK on a reboot? Or when sidebar.exe is closed?

Just click continue and it'll write anyway! No need to step back and revert to another program!

Thanks Guys, thats great news. It happens mostly when sidebar is open sometimes works ok directly after a reboot.

Will uninstall other program staright away I shall not name it again
