Hi all,

Is there any way I can check the layer break break info and the SPLIP info for any burnt dual layer DVDs using ImgBurn?

Or do I have to rip them into a image to check them?

Use the feature in the tools menu.

I tried but I do not know which one is it..

I know how to view the layer break from an image (ISO) but I do not know how to view it from the DVD media itself..sorry

Sorry, my mistake, I thought that feature worked differently to how it does :)

I'm adding a new option to the 'Drive' submenu right now. (The same one that's in the 'ISO' menu)

Thanks!! It would be useful for those who want to know whether the DVD layer break is seamless or not

Cheers!

Almost all DVDs have non-seamless layer breaks (some superbit ones do not). Depending on your player's capabilities, you might be able to uncheck the non-seamless flag and eradicate the nasty pause at the layer break. Ensure there is no cell command at the LB though (you sometimes see a NOP cell command there).
