As all things computer hardware, they will be cheap as chips soon (no pun intended) and I expect that, in time, optical media will be transcended by popping a movie on a USB stick and plugging it into your "player". Kiss goodbye to storage issues and scratches.

Got my GT today

 

Cannot believe how fast they are, thought my Ocz pens were fast. Dunno how corsair have managed to get 8 gig of storage with these kind of speeds.

Did you buy another ?

 

I was tempted to get another to just stick in my asus wl-500g router till I remembered thats only usb 1.1

 

Cannot see another company beating corsair's flash pens for speed.
