fanni Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Wonder if any of you can help me as this is seriously doing my head in now I have a Pioneer DVD-112 and am using imgburn i have no problems writing to DVD-r or + R but when i burn dual layer disc everything seems to be going fine and completes perfect all until you verify what is on the disc and i get this response everytime Firstly here is the Log I 21:45:33 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started!I 21:45:33 Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (6.0, Build 6000)I 21:45:33 Total Physical Memory: 2,095,680 KB - Available: 1,383,200 KBI 21:45:33 Initialising SPTI...I 21:45:33 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 21:45:34 Found 1 DVD-ROM, 1 DVD
fanni Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 use verbatim media only for dual layer I've used loads of these discs and never had a problem up until now i'm using http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=2026&prepg=1 I've also tried using my other writer which is a Tsstcorp CD/DVDW SH-S183A and get the same i/o error but at 53% Could it be down to my something on my board and those pesky jmicron drivers

dontasciime Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Use Verbatim once then see if you can rule out the board/ide/chipset etc. It's a simple choice spend a little more get perfection save a few and pull your hair out.
