Dissonance Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 Hello! I'm new to this. I've read everything I could find to fix my problem with no avail. I have a Plextor PX-740UF with the latest firmware from the Plextor website. I'm running WinXP Pro SP2 with the latest version of ImgBurn. I'm trying to burn an ISO that I downloaded. The file is about 4 GB. I'm using media that the Plextor website says is compatible with my drive (Sony DVD+R 16x). First, I tried burning the ISO. My computer can play it, but my DVD player cannot (it's a Sony DVP-NC85H, and is supposed to be able to play all kinds of media). Then, I tried extracting the files, and building a new ISO before burning. With each attempt, I read and followed the guides posted on this website. Since my DVD player could not play the disc, I also tried Memorex DVD+R 16x media with the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
