Hi, how to set the write speed?

Hi, somehow if i burn the DVDR images at 4x speed, it would come up with a error: "No seek complete"??

but i used to remember it can succeed burning at 2x speed. the question is, even if i set the write speed at 2x, Imgburn will still write at 4x. can some one help me out?

cos your writer and disc only support 4x

 

 

check for a firmware update for drive or choose different media, still update the firmware if hp offer it on their ftp site

 

 

or buy a new burner to go with the latest media eg the 16x media is not a lot of times supported by older writers/firmware without trouble, especially as the media you have is pretty poor in lots of writers

And if you have any problems at all (eg No Seek Complete), throw your Ritek G05 media in the dustbin. They are junk. Use only Taiyo Yudens or Verbatims (MCC dye).
