fed up Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 i have done a successful write with my last lite-on writer , ihave bought a new writer lg gsah42l it writes dual layer ok but fails on finalising the disc , tracking servo error ,yet it was ok till new writer,when i check my bit settings it shows not changed is that because the disc has failed..thanks newbe

mmalves Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I 16:52:57 User Specified L0 Data Zone Capacity: 1,913,760 You can leave the layer break option in 'Calculate Optimal' under ImgBurn's Settings, as the *.dvd file already tells ImgBurn where the layer break should be. And, as cornholio7 said, use only Verbatim DVD+R DLs and burn at 2.4x for best results
