Sad but true - my car is leaking a few drops of oil! Just noticed the garage floor today :(

Alot of high performance engines do tend to drip a wee bit of oil now and then, apparently comes from the heating and cooling of block and heads. It will drip when cooled down but will seal itself after block gets heated up. Especially true for DOHC blocks. After speaking to mechcanic he said most people change their oils more often in high performance engines anyways, so the few odd drips never lead to a problem with low engine oil amounts. He mentioned synthetic oil drips a little less then standard motor oil. I'm running full synthetic engine oil and transmission fluid. With six speed short throw tranny and single sycromesh gearing, it really makes for a nice fast and easy throw from gear to gear. Don't think your Porsche has any worries Blu. :)

Spoken like a bloke who has had lotsa experience with oil leaks Kev!!!

I'll take it up to the grease monkey next week.

It really needs a good run, too. Burn the carbon offa the cyclinders.
