Can ImgBurn burn .avi (mpeg) files stored in my pc?

Hi, I have a lot of files in my computer taking up a lot of space. I'd like to burn them to disk. I have a BenQ DW1650 burner. I opened ImgBurn but couldn't find any setting that would recognize an .avi file, or did I just miss it? Can it be done?
