jazzytaxi Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I have used Verbatim's respected MKM 001 dual layer media with a Lite-DVDRW SOHW-1633S BPSA. All dual layer burns, including one burned with ImgBurn, were unsuccessful. Can somebody please tell me whether the problem is in the drive or the media (very frustrated)? I've included the information for the burn I did with img burn. If anybody wants them, I also haveDVDinfoPro images for burns I did with other programs (they were all coasters). Thanks. And, as you can see above, the disc was correctly burnt, so, how exactly aren't they working? You could also try and look for firmware updates for your burner.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 You're already using the best discs so if you're getting low quality burns, it's time to invest in a new burner. Before doing that though, you may like to crossflash your OEM drive to a real LITEON model, where you can then use the latest official firmware. This thread may help you. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=152805
blutach Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Plus, it seems your burn was only "bad" in one little area. Perhaps the PC was doing something at the time? Nonetheless, the PIs are way too high. Regards
