burgemaster Posted August 3, 2007 Author Posted August 3, 2007 wow thanks mate loads of info there...... my vista machine is now dead lol, i tried the nvidea drivers and it freezes just after the scrolling vista logo... Will have to do a fresh install now. Will post results! thx
dontasciime Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Make sure you go into bios and Disable SILICON IMAGE SATA II These are under Onboard device configuration. Under serial ATA enable Serial ATA Controller And Disable RAID Then Enable the SATA ports you are going to use.

[edit] never mind thought it looked familiar, if it is pcix/usb stuff maybe that is causing the issues What size psu have you got in ? and regardless of Watts what ampage is the 12 v line (normally on the sticker of psu) [edit] and your drivers are not exactly the same as mine... look under atapi
burgemaster Posted August 6, 2007 Author Posted August 6, 2007 (edited) Hi there, PSU is a Viper 600watts. The Jungo is a driver for a card reader. Im pretty sure that Vista updated my drivers for me when i shut down, i think that it is installing updating drivers that dont work. I will try again, if not will reinstall....
