Pawn Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 (edited) What happens is when I try to burn a disc, it does the actual writing just fine, but when it gets to Synchronising Cache, it gives me an error that comes back if I retry. The same happens with Close Track and Finalise Disc when I press Cancel. After that I get an 'Operation Failed'. Here be the log: I 22:26:05 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started! (Please don't tell me my discs are bad quality =( ) PS. One more thing. I was told that I should use the DVD-ROM Book Type mode for this particular ISO. So I changed the mode of DVD+R in the LG menu (Yes, my drive is LG) to DVD-ROM and clicked Change. Could that be the problem or should I have done something else as well to change the book type? dontasciime Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Your disc's are bad. Sorry but thats the truth. Moser Baer if that is how you spell it from what I have seen are terrible. Make sure your firmware for drive is the latest but you would be better off getting some verbatim Mcc or taiyo yuden Edit there are a few new firmwares for you drive (as a rule though use the latest one 106) http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1973 when updating firmware take any disc out of the drive and close tray
