Dave Wright Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 I have recorded movies, etc. with XP Media Center. I would like to burn these recordings to DVD's so that I can play them on my DVD Player. I have tried Media Center, Nero, and dCUT and have not been able to get a usable DVD. ImgBurn does not recognize my recorded files but I can drag and drop them into ImgBurn. It burned a DVD but it does not play in my DVD Player or on my computer. If ImgBurn can take the recordings from Media Center and burn them to a DVD that my DVD player will recognize, I would appreciate step by step instructions on how to accomplish this. Thank you, Dave
chewy Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 you probably need to convert those media files into something that imgburn can use to make a dvd compliant disk dvd flick is a good program, I convert files like avi's into a burnable folder on my hard drive, then after checking the files I burn with Imgburn

What would they need to be converted to that imgburn can use to make a dvd compliant disc? Thanks for your help. Dave
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 ImgBurn burns as-is. So if you want a DVD Video compliant disc you need DVD Video files - i.e. IFO/BUP/VOB files.
