AND! it didn't work, and i probably lost the media here's the log: I 16:56:28 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 All you can do is update the firmware on the drive and change to different discs. At the moment the drive is basically saying it can't initialise the disc - hence the error message in the status bar - 'Logical Unit not ready, Cause not reportable'. No software will work until the drive sees the disc properly.

M4rc0 Posted August 25, 2007 Author Posted August 25, 2007 guess not, but at least i left the first screen..
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Ok so now the drive is saying it can't write to the disc. Time to get some Verbatims then I guess!
M4rc0 Posted August 25, 2007 Author Posted August 25, 2007 shouldn't that be a problem to the xbox? not the dvd recorder? the dvd recoreder should accept the media of any kind but i'll try anyway, guess it's my only option left thanks
blutach Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 It should but inferior media produces write errors anyway. So, it is not just a function of the reader (XBox) but very much a function of the writer. Save yourself some time and worry and get some Verbs - 2.4x MKM-001. Regards
