braddelo Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Alright. This only started recently. I choose to burn an image to a dvd at 2x speed. Well it only goes at 1x and the memory usage shoots up to 286,000k! I takes about an hour to burn and then it doesnt even work. Other burning software goes really slow and the dvds dont work. This never happened before. i have 1.5 gigs of ram and around 1.6 ghz processor.
LOCOENG Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Check your DMA settings. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...dpost&p=967 No need to start multiple threads for the same problem.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Deleted from your duplicate thread (roughly speaking anyway): Post a log
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I expect the 286mb mem usage is you giving the program a 256mb buffer?!
blutach Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 That means go into Tools -- Settings and click Restore Defaults. Regards
