I/O error Check Condition

I have been using DVD Decrypter for some time and successfully copied many of my DVDs. I recently downloaded ImgBurn and it looks great. I sometimes run into DVDs I cannot copy and I thought ImgBurn would fix this and it did not. When I put the DVD in the drive the software sees it and I click on read and it tries to access the files but gets an I/O error message check condition. I have an older burner and I am due for an upgrade. Some DVDs Decrypt just fine so the burner is working just not on all DVDs. Do I need to learn more about the settings and change them for certain DVDs?? HELP

ImgBurn does not replace that program for read only write.

 

In other words ImgBurn cannot read protected dvd's
