chron_4 Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Hey guys, I'm going to be backing up a 2-disc season of a TV show with multiple episodes on each disc and this is something I have never done before. Is there anything special I need to do to burn this? The reason I am asking is because I have wasted so many of my DL's in the past, I am afraid to try something new. Please let me know if the process is just the exact same as it would be with every other dual layer dvd. Do I still need to select the point where it jumps from the first layer to the second? Please offer any suggestions or advice you may have. Thanks!
digidragon Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Before it starts burning, ImgBurn will give you a list of possible layer breaks points, and suggest the best one.
lfcrule1972 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Other than what digi said you should ensure you are using Verbatim DVD+R DL's ideally the MKM 001 dye and then you are giving yourself the best chance of success. Other dual layer media is shitty and that's being kind.....
